Seitan is a delicious protein-rich alternative in all kinds of meals! Seitan is made from wheat protein. This ensures a high protein content and a meat-like structure. Originally seitan comes from Japan and is widely used in macrobiotic cooking. Seitan can be fried and stewed and is therefore very tasty in both stir-fries and stews. Also try to fry it once and serve this as a snack with a delicious dipping sauce; for example with chili sauce!
