Seitan is a delicious protein-rich alternative in all kinds of meals! Seitan is made from wheat protein. This ensures a high protein content and a meat-like structure. Seitan originally comes from Japan and is very widely used in macrobiotic cuisine. Seitan can be fried and stewed and is therefore very tasty in both stir-fries and stews.
