Here at The Quay Co-Op, we have been making delicious organic, vegetarian, and vegan meals and dishes since our opening in 1982. We have always tried to be ethically aware of what we serve to our followers, how it is sourced and how it is produced. We always look to use local suppliers, whether that be organic fruit and vegetable growers, milk and cheese producers in the county, or honey and eggs from community suppliers. A lot of our favourite recipes have been with us for years and have been developed with the help of many in our eclectic team, benefitting from a range of influences in taste and flavours from around the world.
Upstairs at The Co-op is our vegetarian restaurant which provides a bistro style menu with table service from midday until 8pm Wednesday to Saturday, while the Downstairs Deli is ideal for breakfast and all day deli-style dining on sandwiches, salads and slices. The deli is ideal for takeaway or for sitting al fresco while sipping your favouite brew and munching on a house-baked bagel our bee-friendly parklett and exterior dining area. A culinary trip the The Quay Co-op is never complete without a browse through the fascinating range of produce available in our groceries and healthcare shop, allowing you to take a little taste home with you and share the food love!
